The PMP certification is meant for experienced project managers. It helps them prove their skills in three key areas: people, process, and business environment. The project manager must have the skills to manage the team and achieve the project goals. To become eligible for the certification, you have to follow one of the criteria:

- Have a four-year degree/global equivalent
- 36 months of experience in project leadership in the past eight years
- 35 hours of training in project management/ CAPM certification
